The 3 fabulous days tour with 3 different drivers (David, Nick and Graeme) who have lots of knowledge, friendly and so helpful is a top-notch. Thank you guys, keep up your good work! The historic place of Port Arthur, to see and experience the wildlife from the unzoo, amazing views and walks of Wineglass Bay & Cradle Mountain and extra little stops at some places every morning & afternoon to try locals snacks, this tour is for sure worth for money, worth for visit and worth it all. No complaints for the buses we took, clean & aircon flows, and drivers follow the protocol for the COVID safety too. Thanks to Graeme for some very useful tips and information on our free day in LST. Recommended 3D TASMANIA COMBO TOUR!

Day 1 - The weather on the day of the tour was not ideal, lightly raining nearly the entire day, but I still had a lot of fun. The day started early picking everyone up from their hotels before making a quick stop shortly outside on Hobart for anyone wanting to grab a quick coffee/snack and use the restroom before getting on with the day. We made our way to the Waterfall Bay Cliff Top Walk and seeing the Tasman National Park highlights including the Devil's Kitchen and Tasman Arch. The walk itself was pretty easy. From there, we made our way to the Unzoo where we got to feed kangaroos and see a Tasmanian Devil being fed. We then went to the Port Arthur Historic Site which had two small cafes to purchase lunch from and much to see. You are free to roam about and explore as you want. The tour also included a short cruise through the bay. I personally enjoyed a glass of wine and snacks while listening to the commentary from the guide. After leaving Port Arthur, we made a stop at the Federation Chocolate Factory where we tried unique flavors of chocolates. Last stop on the trip was Richmond where we were able to walk around and explore the various shops on our own. Day 2 - The weather on the day of the tour was again not ideal, still lightly raining nearly the entire day. However, similar to the prior day, this did not detract from the overall experience much. The day started early picking everyone up from their hotels before making a quick stop shortly outside of Hobart for anyone needing to purchase lunch to take with them for the day. We made one additional stop along a beach before getting to the Freycinet National Park. From there, we had three options of walks, a short walk to a cafe/lunch spot, a walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout (a 45-minute uphill walk), or the option to extend your walk to the actual sands of Wineglass Bay (approximately 2.5 hours). Normally, I would have chosen the longer walk, but given the weather was rainy, and the guide advised there were a couple of sections of the walk to be careful on, our group of four opted for the walk to the lookout. Two of the members of the group stopped halfway to the lookout before turning to head towards the van as it was an uphill climb and a bit too much for them. After taking in the views overlooking Wineglass Bay, we headed to Honeymoon Bay and did the Cape Tourville Lighthouse Walk. The description says you stop at the Freycinet Marine Farm for oysters, but we did not, so maybe that is a seasonal thing. We did make a stop for coffee/snacks/ice cream, though before heading to Launceston. Day 3 - Again, the day started early picking everyone up from their hotels and heading to the first stop, a place offering coffee and all sort of breakfast/lunch options for eat-in or takeaway. After purchasing our breakfast/lunch for the day, we headed towards Cradle Mountain. The first walk was a short but peaceful walk inside the national park. We then hopped back into the van to drive deeper into the national park and closer to Cradle Mountain. We parked by Dove Lake where the guide explained the various options for trails before we all parted ways. A girl I had met on the bus and myself opted for the hike up to Marion's Lookout together. It was a difficult upward climb, especially since we were moving at a fairly quick pace. It took us approximately an hour to reach the top, but once we got up there the views were spectacular. Because we had made such good time, we were able to relax and have lunch without being rushed. Once finished, we headed down towards Dove Lake. The climb down was steeper than expected, but they have a chain rope most of the way you can hold onto. I was grateful for this when my foot slipped a couple of times on the loose stone. We were good on time so we were also able to do the walk around Dove Lake (counter-clockwise from the parking lot). There were a couple of spots with an uphill climb, but this was much easier than the hike up to Marion's lookout. Once we all met back at the van, we drove to another area of the park for a brief chance to roam around and try to spot wombats. Last stop on the tour was to the Ashgrove Cheese Factory to sample cheeses and purchase goodies or ice cream. Overall, the days were long and tiring. By the end of my trip, I was exhausted. However, I would do it all again. I was able to see and do so much, and the guides were friendly, knowledgeable and experienced, making every day more enjoyable and run smoothly.

This tour did everything we wanted, and more! It was very well organised and excellent value for money. We loved every minute of it. The early departures and long days were well worth it and meant you could see and do so much. Port Arthur was probably the day one highlight (you could easily spend a whole day there!), although the visit to 'Unzoo' was a special experience, where most of the wildlife there simply roam around in a natural environment. The scenic clifftop walks and various viewpoint stops were amazing. And Richmond and the Hobart City Lookout rounded the day off in style. Freycinet National Park and the views of Wineglass Bay were stunning - well worth the 45 minute climb up to and sown from the lookout. Honeymoon Bay provided an ideal contrast for a lunch break - an opportunity to relax in a beautiful, scenic environment surrounded by a calm, turquoise sea. The final day, Cradle Mountain, was probably one of the highlights our entire trip around Australia. Every bit of the day was just wonderful, from the short walks to the hike around Dove Lake, the scenery and the wildlife in their natural environment. The guides were excellent. Dan, (day one), was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and humorous. Rod (day three), shared his enthusiasm and detailed knowledge about every aspect of Cradle Mountain, the environment and its wildlife. The air-conditioned buses were comfortable and the baggage trailer towed on day two meant there was non restrictions on luggage, perfect for us as we on a six week trip around Australia. This trip ticks all the boxes, especially if you are limited for time. Highly recommended.

We had three great days of tours in beautiful locations and with three great job as driver/guides! Clinton, Andy, and Tony all did a great job of making our bus travels and sightseeing visits interesting and they all brought great amounts of personal knowledge of Tasmanian history, local lore, and even plenty of information on plants, trees and wildlife. We were fortunate to see Wallabies, wombats, Tasmanian devils and wild birds during our tours.

Absolutely amazing experience! If you are short on time in Tasmania but still want to see the biggest spots, this tour is for you! You get to see so many wonderful and beautiful areas, learn about tassie history, see native animals and vegetation in their natural habitat, taste local produce and just have an amazing time. Tassies are incredibly kind in general and this holds true for the guides!

This tour is very good value for money. There are several stops each day and all the entrance fees are included in the full cost of the tour. Pick-up and drop-off are very prompt, and the tour guides are friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. We were three seniors travelling on this tour and the each of the tour guides were flexible in allowing us to do as much or as little active participation as we wanted or could. Even if we did not take all the walks, we still took some beautiful photographs. Wear sensible walking shoes, hats, water, sunscreen and light jacket as it can get cold in some areas you will visit.

The 3 day tour managed to cover most of the tourist area that you would want to visit while in Tasmania. Being on a tour, the timing would sure be really tight and you would have to quickly complete what you want to do before moving on to the next place. The tour guides were all very knowledgeable, and the guide that brought us on the cradle mountain tour explained to us in detail about the history of the plants and the place which you would not be able to know of if you did not follow him. One thing to note, we were brought to the "Federation Chocolate" on the second day of the tour if I'm not wrong, and the samples were really nice so we bought over 10 packs of chocolates. However upon flying home and trying the chocolates, it tasted so different from the samples that we had tried, in a bad way, that we've decided to throw them all away as it was really inedible. Not sure if the samples are different from the products that were sold, I really hope not. But maybe you would like to buy one pack there to taste it first before buying more. Do note that the time you have there to buy is very tight too, so you would have to buy it quick to taste it. The other pit stops had good ice creams, so that was nice! If you are travelling with a person who would need the toilet frequently, do note that the vehicle is a small van/bus which does not have a restroom, and the journeys can be quite long (1-2 hours), thus it can be stressful for that person.
