Built in 1894, the original Busselton Railway Station was located in Stanley Street, Busselton, it served the community for over 90 years before being decommissioned. In 1987 the station was relocated to public open space at the town's entrace. It was moved the the Busselton Foreshore in 2016 and skilfully incorporated into what is now known as "Railway House".
Railway House is home to the oldest surviving Australian-made locomotive, the historic Ballaarat Engine. Railway House offers a place to reflect the past and ponder the future.
