McCracken Bed and breakfast is a self contained one bedroom apartment to accommodate one couple. It has a queen size bedroom, en-suite with television and ceiling fan and walk-in robe, plus dressing gowns, all linen and towels provided. There is a comfortable lounge/dining area with television, DVD and CD player and a range of CD's. Continental breakfast provisions are provided which can be enjoyed on the lovely private patio. The bed and breakfast is in a perfect location, just a 15 minute walk to the beach where you can enjoy beautiful views or a couple of minutes to the Hindmarsh River Trail Walk. There is also plenty to keep you entertained including the tram pulled by Clydesdale horses which crosses the causeway to Granite Island or take the Cockle Train to Goolwa for a lovely day out. For the sport minded there is the McCracken Country Club, Victor Harbor Golf Club and Greenhill’s Adventure Park. Whale watching season is June-September and a visit to the Whale Centre is a must. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and you can also enjoy markets at the weekend, local wineries and Alexander Cheeses near Mount Compass....
