  wonderful full day to see the city sites.we were picked up at a hotel close by to our accommodations.it was a full shuttle and we were taken to a central station were we split into groups.our group consisted of 4 people .due to current situations we had 4 people the guide stated normally we would have a full bus.we were lucky and had the guide to our self.we were not rushed and saw more of the city .he drove us to various sites in the city from the grain mill where we were given historical details of the early days in brisbane history and founding .we enjoyed both a driving tour as well as a walk in the city.along our journey the guide gave us details of city life from shopping to restaurants to the river walk.we were given to the river cruise stop .we had coffee and tea plus scones with cream and jelly.we embarked on a one hour river cruise were we enjoyed the sites along the river.we cruised under the story bridge ,past the downtown high rises and ended up at the brisbane wheel.it was a delightful one hour cruise.he took us around this side of brisbane pointing our historical fact

  Really enjoyed this day trip round the sites of Brisbane Bob was a great guide and looked after us well. Would highly recommend this trip

  Bob was an excellent host, gave full information about Brisbane and it was a wonderful tour ended with Beer Tasting. Tour covers Heritage Buildings, Park, River cruise and Brewery visit. I can understand Brisbane better now

  Everything is fine except the coordination of 2 groups from Brisbane and Gold Coast was terrible. Waste a lot of time just in waiting both in the morning and afternoon.

  CHECK and RECHECK the ITINERARY YOU PAID FOR AGAINST WHAT THEY ARE GIVING YOU. If you are clicking on this Tour now, you will most likely see a tour of the XXXX Beer Brewery, if so, by all means, check out the reviews that talk about the Brewery. However, I booked this tour 7 months in advance for our later-in-life honeymoon, specifically for the Koala Sanctuary Tour, and then find out they replaced a once in a lifetime experience with a brewery tour (we don't drink beer!). Fast forward to our arrival in Australia, where we literally were on the go everyday, and not rechecking itineraries of booked venues, just ensuring we had our ticket vouchers on our phones. When I made reservation 7 months earlier, I gave them the exact address of the Air BnB we were staying in, but it also said we could just meet at the train/coach terminal in the city, so I was not concerned about a pick up. The day before we returned from an all day excursion of snorkeling and could not get anyone to answer the phone, so we rechecked on online to compare my print out against the info online. We then noticed there was the XXXX Brewery tour REPLACING the Koala Reserve Attraction. 7 months in advance, PAID, and we couldn't get an email informing us of the change and asking if we wanted to change or cancel? We al noticed the local tour company # and office hours stated they opened at 0630 and immediately started calling to discuss the issue with someone---straight to voicemail EVERY TIME, left a message with email and phone contact (NEVER RETURNED!!) so we called the "higher level" number for assistance. They said because it was within 24 hours it was up to the local company how to handle. So, since it was 0730, morning of, we decided to we would at least arrive at pick up pint at train station and advise we were present, but not happy with no-notice change in itinerary. Parking at the Roma Transit is literally $16 as soon as you go past 10 minutes, and it was a 10minute walk from parking through the station to the Coach pick up. We discussed the issue with a tour rep/coach driver, and he said he was the driver for a different tour with same company and we should just wait as the other bus would arrive any minute. He did say that WE must be mistaken, because the Koala Reserve had been removed months earlier---despite my having a print out of the entire itinerary from TripAdvisor from when I made reservation-- "our mistake." He then mentioned he didn't think we would get a refund since it was the day of. We waited another 10 minutes, other customers were waiting, but we decided to leave since the parking was so expensive and we had already submitted through the TripAdvisor "higher level." Bottom line, 7 months pre-planning, paid in full, changed Itinerary with ZERO notice, NO PHONE CALL ANSWERED OR RETURNED, and then $26 to park ~23minutes at the station only to hear that we somehow got it wrong..... And then we received a partial refund a few days later.

  This was a great way to see Brisbane, its old buildings, newer ones and the river. We had some stops to walk around. The driver was very very knowledgeable. Did wonder if other people would understand some of his terse comments. and way he gave instructions. but I guess he has had many tourists who don't listen or understand. I felt the brewery tour was a bit long. Would have like to visit the B gardens by Mt lookout.

  The full day tour was great! Our tour guide Bob was so knowledgeable and very friendly. It was a nice mix of driving and walking. If you do the afternoon tour there is a little more walking. The river boat tour was a lot of fun. We got to see a different side of Brisbane. Would recommend and do it again.

  Overall excellent tour. Bob the tour guide knew his stuff. Only things that need looking into are water be available on bus, also that for brewery tour closed in shoes have to be worn.

  A really great time. The host was very friendly and knowledgable. Plenty of opportunities for photos. The xxxx tour was very informative. The riverboat cruise with scones and coffee to die for. Strongly recommend.

  The tour was great from start to finish. We were picked up at our hotel on time and shuttled to an exchange point without any delays. The guide was informative, happy, and obviously proud of his home town.We had a bus tour, a boat tour, and enough free time for a nice lunch at Southbank....maybe a little more guidance there would have worked, but everyone in our small group seemed to find something they enjoyed and re-joined the tour on time for the private brewery tour (they're closed on Monday but a tour guide came in to show us the process anyway!) Put this one on your schedule!
